Emma Gibbens is CGM Communications’ community engagement and activation specialist.
Emma has a decade of experience in political campaigning across the United States and around the world. More recently, Emma was the WA state director for the YES to marriage equality campaign, with WA achieving the second highest YES vote in the national survey.
Emma is skilled at helping individuals and organisations connect, engage, and activate any audience. Working one-on-one or in large groups, she helps bring stories and people-centred messages to the forefront. This approach has proven to be incredibly effective at convincing and motivating people to action.
As a self-proclaimed data nerd, every project Emma works on is measured, tracked, and audited with a highly analytical approach. With a commitment to accountability and measuring results, her well developed campaign craft supports the data side in driving effective training around organising, messages, and conversations.
Emma assists CGM Communications clients to build community driven movements to achieve key organisational objectives.
Emma holds a Certificate of Engagement from the International Association for Public Participation, Australasia.
