Steed Farrell

Steed is CGM Communications government relations and stakeholder engagement specialist, bringing more than 15 years experience in communications and stakeholder engagement from across the government, corporate and not-for-profit sectors.

Most recently, Steed worked with the Pilbara Ports Authority as their Corporate Communications Specialist, proceeding a number of roles in which he provided valued, strategic advice to high-level management and Members of Parliament.

In his role with the PPA, Steed worked closely with a broad cross-section of community and government stakeholders, including the Town of Port Hedland. Steed also has a sound understanding and knowledge of local government from spending eight years as a councillor on the City (formerly Town) of Vincent and Mindarie Regional Councils.

As a versatile and accomplished public relations practitioner, Steed has extensive experience in the development and delivery of strategic communications, and a keen insight into how effective communications strategy can influence decisions and outcomes.

Steed specialises in government relations and community engagement, and has a comprehensive understanding of government decision-making processes, with networks across all levels of government.
