Wade McCagh is CGM Communications’ digital & social media specialist.
Wade has both local and international experience as a digital communications expert. He has previously worked in the resource sector with some of world’s largest companies as an International Sales and Marketing Coordinator for Integration Objects, a North African based industrial software developer.
After returning to Australia, Wade joined Pelican Magazine, a local arts and current affairs publication, where he eventually became Editor in Chief. He also wrote for several publications during this period, most notably for VICE Sports covering the 2016 Olympic Games. Most recently, Wade worked as a Media Strategist for digital & social media agency Yuu Social, overseeing the creation and execution of digital strategies for clients across a broad range of industries.
As CGM Communications’ digital & social media specialist, Wade leads the creation of digital communications strategies for our clients and oversees the development and management of websites, social media, and other online platforms and content.
Wade is the Vice President of the WA Branch of the Public Relations Institute of Australia. He currently serves as the National Communications Director for Young Australians in International Affairs and as a WA Committee Member of the Australian Institute of International Affairs.
Wade graduated from the University of Western Australia with a Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Political Science & International Relations. He holds a Graduate Certificate in Advanced Social Media Strategy from Syracuse University and a Graduate Diploma in Digital Marketing from the University of California Irvine.
